This is one of the best soprano saxes ever made. The tone is deep with a little buzz, much like vintage American sopranos. The ergonomics, intonation and build quality are as good as I’ve ever seen on any soprano. It is very free blowing and expressive.

This soprano was played by a working pro for over a decade. It has a lot of honest wear but no major dents or drops. It has about 70% of the original lacquer(lacquer doesn’t stay on sterling silver well).  When it came in the shop, it looked like it had not been repaired since it was new. Our lead technician, Chris Moller, did a fresh C.O.A. (clean, oil and adjust). He replaced 10 pads, leveled a few, and replaced many key silencers. It comes with three necks, the original straight neck, a curved neck and an extra curved neck that sets the soprano to play in a position much like an alto sax.
